I believe that is debris on top of the VIN badge, not a crack.

Re: ITR Badge Requests

I submitted a few requests as well but didn't get a response either... ......Gentle reminder to all, only two have access to this database for security reasons, and both are volunteers.......... Oh, I am not complaining. We spoke about this before. I get it. That's why I am trying to help those out...

Re: Type R Production Numbers

Does anyone know the breakdown of how many USDM ITRs were yellow and black?

Also, according to my research, Sunlight Yellow was also the name used for 2000 and 2001 PY cars. I thought one year might've been called that.

I've got a pretty large list of only VINs I I'm hoping to reconcile one day.

Also, my database only contains USDM ITRs. I can only potentially identify those requests.

Re: ITR Badge Requests

I'm compiling a database of ITRs as well. I'm collecting previous and current owners, past and current pictures, which 00-01's were PY or black, and even Carfaxes. Feel free to PM me the VIN or badge number and I can check what I have. I am sure my database is not nearly as big as Jay's though. I ad...

I'm wondering if that's why it went to KY and then CA. It's obviously registered now, so whatever they did, it worked!

Re: 98 Type R copart

Just in case anyone is interested in what happened to this car,, it is alive and registered in California now. According to the Carfax, it went from TX, to KY right after the auction. Then 1.5 years later water damage was reported again while it was in California.

It's in Modesto now since Oct 2019

Re: Restoring #97-00012

Curious how many parts you already had that you used to rebuild the car. Seems like you already had a ton of parts that you accumulated prior. Overall, it didn't seem like you needed to buy too many new parts that you didn't already have. Did you procure those parts in anticipation of rebuilding a p...

Re: Restoring #97-00012

Curious if you have any tips on how to track all of the nuts and bolts when you got them Zinc'd to make sure they find the proper home. I'm OCD. Every specific nut and bolt has to go back where it came from. I'm planning to take pics, measurements, and notes. As of right now, I've been cleaning them...
