Outrun,
Thanks for posting pics and details about the car.
Did you buy it from the original owner? Wondering who put it back together before you got it.
Which state did you buy it from?
Thanks!!

Re: Post stolen caR thoughts
Such a shame how thieves don't care about the hurt they cause because they can't suppress their urge to take instead of earn for themselves. Was your ITR stolen in Oct 2020? I'm expecting prices of cars to come down, but that's a whole other topic of discussion that involves inflation and moving fro...

Re: using Japanese ECU in US spec car
If you use the JDM 2000 ECU you will have the speed limiter, no security immobilizer, and no emissions support. More than likely the emissions support could be an issue. If so, the JDM ECU won't fit your needs. But the JDM ECU can at least be used temporarily of needed. No modifications needed to wo...

D67FF6C0-160C-4BAD-9448-039EF9B5CF66.jpegI found this for sale ad with a clear shot of the transmission vin . https://honda-tech.com/forums/sale-10/em1-b18c5-part-out-3359189/ I did a search on this swap. It was not stolen. The engine suffered a rod bearing failure so the previous owner replaced it...

Re: 9/18/2021 Honda Homecoming
Very cool event! I would love to attend one!
Would love to see more of the Spoon FD2!
Look at all those NSXs and S2000s! I expected to see more ITRs. Maybe now people are hesitant to drive theirs in hopes they have the next $80k ITR!! Lol
Thanks for sharing the pics!

Re: Advice for using ITR as daily driver?
I own a 996 911. Yes, the engines were not designed well at all. Lots of inherent issues in the design that can cause catastrophic engine failure. I bought one specifically for that reason though. If you get the engine rebuilt by a proper engine builder, you can resolve all of those issues as well a...
