Re: Dumb, Stubborn, and bound to end up penniless…….
I'm a fan of it on. Always been a fan of keeping the look as original as possible, and I've always associated cars with missing badging as a car that was in an accident and repaired by a abodysuit. shop.

Re: 98 ITR (copart)
Definitely possible. It is near Baltimore after all. Lol
Looks like the seats and armrest were taken.
I just looked at the screen shots I took. The car looks to be in similar condition as it was in my pics. There was a door panel in the back that's missing, too.

Re: 98 ITR (copart)
It did have seats. I took screen shots of the last auction.
One thing that I heard people do is they buy a car on Copart, take parts out like the engine, etc, put in a blown one, and sl it again on Copart.

Re: New to me ITR
I like the tint idea. I've owned two and both had tint installed by previous owners. Tint keeps the car a little cooler (very helpful if you have no AC like both of mine) and lessens the impact of UV rays on the interior which causes fading. Normally I am not a fan of tint but this is two wins in m...

Re: New to me ITR
....... I have no idea where my original one is. I sold it in 2002 to a Toyota dealer in Cincinnati. The GM said he was going to give it to his son. I remember the badge number being in the 700s I think. ...... Oh, wow. Do you remember which dealership it was? I went to UC from 1995-1999. What are ...

Beautiful! Non-faded interior looks so nice!
Did you buy this off a member on this site?
Do you know where your original Type R is? When did you sell it?
Is that your Spec E46 racecar?

Re: 98 ITR (copart)
That Copart location isn't far from me.
Not too surprised on the price do far. The swaps ate going up in value. I wonder what a USDM B18C5 is going for these days.
Definitely worth a decent amount in parts. Don't think it's worth saving.

Re: Shift knob same as RSX?
ITR knob is made of titanium. I believe the RSX is aluminum.
