Re: Fundraiser - Type R Club of America
All: thanks so much for your participation in the survey and for your interest in the “party” shirts…. I’m still tallying and there are still interested parties approaching me thru multiple channels, so please bear with me as we work out the pricing details.

Re: HDay 2024
I haven’t brought the type R there, but we did bring our LochNSX there last year, in the project’s infancy… It’s not a bad show and it’s right by MIR. It kinda depends on what kinds of shows you’re into…. People love the type R’s now and will want to talk your ear off about them. We’re cool with tha...

Re: Thoughts on utilizing a sitting USDM B18C5
Revisiting this thread... discovered that my 4 year old yonaka exhaust on the ugly duckling is rattling to pieces... This makes me thing more and more about doing a series displacement update (and fun factor multiplier)... Thinking of maybe refreshing this j32 and using a j35 crank, which apparently...

Re: Koyo timing belt tensioners: any good?
Thanks, yall. I appreciate the feedback. In other news, I feel folks are trading in non-R cores when they buy reman'd rear brake calipers. Rear left fit well. Rear right looks like a non-R. The brake pads fit, but brake line angle was 90 degrees or so off... I kinda works bcoz aftermarket flex lines...

Koyo timing belt tensioners: any good?
I'm at that point where I need to do timing belt service on my b20. I was looking around and saw that koyo makes a tensioner for the b series vehicles. Does anyone have experience with these?

Re: Thoughts on utilizing a sitting USDM B18C5
I have a Hondata S300 if desired. Believe it or not, I still have my expo 2018 east raffle prize and am hoping it’s still good for face value. And solid point on the COP sensor thing… I’ll have to do a bit more reading.. the Hondarulez kit seems to be the least invasive and reversible, if needed. -...

Re: Thoughts on utilizing a sitting USDM B18C5
Responding to a lot of questions, but yeah, I already have the b18c5 and most of the parts to refresh it already. I would just need a hondata ecu since this would be in my OBD1 car. I can pick up a p28 with COP mod and have it s300 ready for $310 or so and then I just make my coil pack harnesses. Th...
