Re: World Debut of New Acura Integra Today

Here is that pic being made. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8JmHsKc9z8U For sure someone will make a type r out of bits of a new integra and CTR if honda doesn't do it themselves. It is not for me, but it seems like a good value for a FWD car with a standard LSD. More serious people will go with a ...

Re: ITR review by savageseese

I was hoping he would do a car review on the ITR at some point. He is a great director in his own right and it is akin to looking forward to a James Cameron and Chris Nolan movie. He did justice to the car for the short time he had and I want what King did for that last car.

Re: Advice for using ITR as daily driver?

Would you consider taking the passenger seat out for easy access to the back seats? Replace the rear console with a JDM ebrake cover and the access to the back seat gets really good. I lived for a couple of months without a passenger seat on my daily driver while the seat base was getting refinished...

Re: New to me ITR

Congrats on the new car!! That really was a nice one you picked up. Your last ITR was a long time ago, what drew you back to it after all these years and despite it costing much more to return?

Re: Hatch Opener Relay

You can try a trick that worked a few times for me to clean micro switch contacts. Low current micro switches used as trip sensors go bad over time because corrosion forms over their contacts naturally and there is no way to get inside the switch to clean the contacts. However, if you hook something...

Re: Hatch Opener Relay

What was the symptom with the bad latches? Mine was not latching and I had to slam the trunk to even make it work. It ended up being a lube problem inside the latch. I had to take it apart to lube a certain section of it that was bone dry and making the latch hook hang open. It is a pretty simple la...

Re: My 2000 Integra LS build thread

Its just a rebuild of my MK3 golf. It is my first stick shift car and it is so charming, I have to save it. I used it as a winter beater too long and it is hurting right now with rusty rockers and floor and a worn out engine. I miss not being able to drive that car. bonneville.png What VW did you ha...

Re: My 2000 Integra LS build thread

This is the best video that I have seen explaining the pro and cons of forged pistons without reading a ton of stuff. The guy has some amazing explanations of the pros and cons of all sorts of engine topics. I wonder what his background is. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rN2ND_FPnUA Honda is known ...

Re: Northeast ITR / CTR Meet - 5/15/21

Unfortunately I won't make it this time Dan. I can't believe it has indeed been 4 years. I am still stuck at work at this late hour and an early morning drive from Mass is not in the cards.

Thank you for your kindness and support from the last time we met.
