It was A/C equipped at some point in its life, the A/C harness is still visible in the pic of the rywire ground strap on the driver side of the engine bay, its just hanging loose(look below the headlight level, the single red wire plug is the compressor plug). So probably removed by previous owner.

another alternative is the cd head unit from a 99-01 honda crv (light up amber) or 97-01 honda prelude. just throwin in my 2 cents
