Re: Any ITR get-togethers in NorCal?
Will there be any pre or post Expo dyno run meet? Sure if people want to do it. It seems like the interest in a get together is pretty low, however, I'm still game if a few people want to meet up at our facility. Like I said earlier, I can have both race cars on display (will possibly dyno the sequ...

I’m sure you can include Jackson (redGSRguy) with his 98 R, Lawrence with his 00 yellow R, and probably Nathan in his 98 R. Those are all regulars but it would be great to see some new faces.

Re: Any ITR get-togethers in NorCal?
We could do a gathering at our place in Club Auto Sport (San Jose). We have a large parking lot, in ground dyno for those that want to do that and several Type R's on display. I'll need to clear it with the HOA board but that's more of a formality if anything. What would be the weekend preference fo...

Re: Brake Pads Discussion
I use Pagid and Carbotech pads. For Carbotech, I've used XP8, XP10, XP12, XP20 & RP2 For Pagid, I've used RS42, RS29 & RS19 Both pads are very similar, although Pagid is a little more expensive and seems to have a little more modulation. Thankfully one of the head guys at Pagid was heavily i...

Re: Resurrection: 1998 Belgian Procar - Thierry Tassin ELR/Honda/Foss-Tech #7 race car
Some new updates: (w/ video below) Track Day at Laguna Seca – Sunday, May 27th I finally got the car back on the track (the last event was July 30th). Since the last track day the power has been bumped up by about 10-15whp (from 7k rpm and onward), the partial throttle maps were retuned, the origina...

Re: Any ITR get-togethers in NorCal?
I *might* be at Laguna this Monday (May 7th) but if not will likely be at Laguna Memorial Day weekend (Sunday, May 27 and/or Monday, May 28). I'll be driving the ELR/Foss-Tech car and testing out the sequential transmission (pre-paddle shifters). Ready for the new motor?!? Spring has sprung....

Did a test drive of the B-series sequential gearbox under acceleration. Enjoy!

Re: 1997 Gsr(and other cars) track/build log
What caused those cracks in the rear? Ever wonder why one of the Type R chassis modifications Honda did was to increase the rear wheelhouse thickness? This is a common problem to have on non-Type R DC2 chassis that see a lot of spirited track driving. The rear roof rail and pillar will also start t...
