Re: 00-1041

As promised, here's a video of the dyno pull. She put down 221 to the wheels on a hot humid day. We think she can do 230 if the conditions were less humid. I have a new intake manifold and 70mm throttle body on order, which will be installed in the winter and then a second round of tune will be fort...

Re: Spoon Brake Caliper Wheel Clearance List

Does the spare clear? No one has ever mentioned if the spare space saver wheel clears the spoon twin blocks. Would hate to find out it doesn’t when trying to service a flat. I might have to give it a try next time I rotate my wheels.

Bump. Still looking for an OEM ITR head unit. It must light up amber, would prefer if it includes security code (but not required).

Re: 00-1041

Heart transplant from an '05 ITR. The transmission came with an LSD and a 5.0 FD. Will be dyno'ed / tuned in about a month. I was worried that the overall balance of the car would be out of wack but I actually think it's been improved. This will remain a mild, all-motor setup. https://i.imgur.com/Fa...

Re: OEM (JDM) Honda 5 speed titanium shift knob

Not sure if true/false but I read somewhere (S2K forums?) that titanium is actually heavier than aluminum, which explains why the TI knob is so heavy. Someone earlier in this thread said that if it was real titanium it would be light weight. I think that's a misconception.

Re: OEM (JDM) Honda 5 speed titanium shift knob

It’s titanium. If you believe it’s made of something else, then take it up with the Honda engineers who made it.
