Picked up 98-0034 back in Aug 2015 (cant believe its going on 3 years already). She was a Northeast car all her life, and daily driven so she had some body and rust issues. With around 137K on the clock, she was also consuming a decent amount of oil. For the next 2 years I did some of the usual mods and beat the crap out of her over the course of 20+ track days. Other than a leaky oil pan gasket last year at Expo, Ive never had a single problem with her.
But the time has come to get her back into shape. Motor is out at the shop for a mostly OEM refresh on the C5. And the chassis is basically a rolling shell at the body shop. She will be getting some extensive body work and rust removal and then a fresh coat of CW. Exterior will be pretty mint but there will still be some areas to address at a later time internally and underneath. Not enough time and money to do it all at once.
A couple pics from the first day I got her, Expo 16 and the last time I saw her. Moar pics and updates to come!

nice!
Get them to pull the quarter windows they are bitch to mask properly. You get a way better job for the extra 2-300 it costs.

The car needs a ton of body work, so cant do the quarters or engine bay. Ill do some touchup on the bay myself once I have it back. It cleaned up pretty well. The quarter windows will be good enough for now and easy touchup later if needed. Its so stupid that quarter window and trim is one piece. Needed new windshield too so new moldings up front.
Expo? I hope so. Im already paid for the event and hotel, but running out of money for the car lol.
Vtecwreck, sounds good. Im in South Joisey.
