Tank mounting deck is in now. Barely flexes if I bounce squatting on it. Not bad for a jigsaw, angle grinder, and drill. Extra points for chassis stiffening!

WMI tank mounted.
Re: Dumb, Stubborn, and bound to end up penniless…….
That looks tough. Very military like, ties in with your introduction so well. I ordered the sash again on Saturday and I have it supposedly coming . I needed the missing one before. Then I needed another when my subseal tore. Guess what? The driver side subseal is on back order now. I already had one but maybe the psa you posted had an impact.

Got the passenger door handle and both door position stops installed. Was able to repair the ripped subseal so that should go in tomorrow.
Also got the WMI line from tank to pump made and from the bulkhead up to the engine bay. Put one end on the last WMI hose, that will run from a junction just below the firewall up to control solenoid but will need to workout routing from there before I complete it. Using zip ties just to stage the hoses in place but will workout better permanent mounting.
After hoses are complete all the fittings will get tightened up and I’ll pressure test the whole system with water.

Small update but good progress.
Estimated out the length for the engine bay WMI supply hose and got it completed.
Running a pressure test (air @130psi) of the hoses now will leave it pressurized and will check tomorrow to make sure everything held pressure. All the hoses were good right off I had to tighten a couple of the joints (not hose ends) but looking really good.
If all holds I’ll run a short test with water at full pump pressure and some short volume tests for the nozzles then can move on with other items.
Also goth the undercarriage hose up cleaner

Here’s another g-wiz factor update.
Custom made a tire well cover with hinge to accommodate the WMI tank deck.
I didn’t want to modify the OEM so bought some poly board and made one from the OEM as a template. Hinge is actually from a drum set partition setup.

Looking great dude! The attention to detail is bar none. You and dan have two very meticulous rebuilds going on.
Also, If you’re willing and able, I’d take one of those spare tire covers! I could also make due with a stencil or measurements.
