The integra elbows came out great. The civic cap with elbow attached seems to improved but the browning on the elbow seemed to get worse . This seemed like my fault. I had it on the reservoir and I think that trapped all the crap from the reservoir inside the little elbow.

This clip came out great. In person it's actually whiter than the new one. Unfortunately the black came off , like I said this stuff is a mild acid. Be careful .

Does this make them more brittle in any way? Anybody done this and then waited a few years to see of any impacts?

It’s a very common practice for restoring old plastics. Check the Wiki linked above for more history.

I did it to the civic cap and overflow bottle 10 years or so . It has not cracked and doesn't seem brittle, but after 10 years or so the yellowing returned.

Appreciate the real world experience. Thanks for sharing this, going to use it on my R and CRX parts as well :thumbup:
