Just wondering if it's still driving out there these days. I sold it nearly 10 years ago. Can't ever forget the numbers. That was my dream car until life threw me a horrible family curve ball... I've since purchased a CW 97..but I always remembered my first one. Was actually my 2nd car ever purchased. Would be cool to know it's still out there. I purchased it unknowing that it was a rebuilt title due to theft until I tried to sell it to Carmax at a young and dumb age. I declined and privately sold it to a younger guy in Tulsa, OK name Beau.

VIN is JH4DC23171S001868 #01-0922

Wish I had found this forum sooner. I've owned my 97 now for 10+ years and it's still just as strong as day one. Have a great week though guys. Looking forward to digging information up as I restore mine. 20+ years haven't been kind to the paint and hardware.

I think the last record of your old car is from 2008 on eBay, but we can confirm that if needed. A carfax might lead us a bit more at this point.

If you send me the VIN / badge, I can check on any info we have on your 97. EDIT: wait, JDM, probably not in the case.

Thanks guys! Yeah there's no telling. I did try selling the car on Ebay, but eventually a buyer from Craigslist came through. I assume he never changed the title over to his name, because Oklahoma says I was the last registered owner, and the title was Cancelled. Not sure if that means it was registered out of state...or it's been scrapped... being in Tulsa of all places, I wouldn't be surprised if it was stripped for parts at some point if he never registered it. Figured I'd give it a stab.
