I think I talked to you in the lunch line and you did like an overnight or 12 hour drive or so just before the track opened up (or something along those lines). I emailed pics of your car on track.

Yes that was me haha, I was rushing to get the TL-S done in time for Expo and ended up leaving with 8 hours to get there on a trip that was supposed to take over 9 hours. Got there only 6 minutes late Image hahaha. I was so exhausted but very happy to be there.

Yeah today I actually came to a conclusion that it's the actual shocks. Seller sent me a message today of his car on those shocks and it looked the same. Left side sitting 3/4th of an inch higher! So I am now probably going to go for OE replacements. Although reading up on JDM ITR vs USDM ITR suspension, I believe I read that the front springs on the JDM variant is shorter. I want to keep this a full 98 spec JDM themed build so I may try to find some used ones.

I've seen replacement shocks make cars sit several inches higher so that probably is the case.

There is something definitely weird about the way that suspension sits. Seems slightly higher than what most ITRs look like on stock suspension. JDM springs/shocks will bring it down a good amount. I can confirm the colour code on the 98+ JDM suspension if you need it.

Have you tried looking at the import shops? They usually have tons of used OEM suspension off the Japan cars. If you can't find anything let me know, I have sources through our JDM site.

I did take a look at Honda Motors Online, haven't looked much elsewhere. I typically try not to buy parts from those places just because I hate seeing good JDM ITRs cut up so we can buy parts off of them.. but if I'm not having much luck elsewhere I'd have to do it.

Where do you get your parts from? From my research I believe the JDM 98 spec struts were different than USDM and 96 spec JDM.

Any possibility that the front and rear springs are swapped?

It's the whole left side that's raised

There is posts on ht with the same phenomenon you are experiencing with lowering spring mishaps. Too tall and crooked .
