A lot of the clips for the plastic covers on mine were stuck and damaged during removal so you may want to plan to replace them (center plastic screw with expansion surround).
I think helms calls for replacing hose clamps too.

This without removing the tank ? I was hoping on just replacing the straps and hardware. I have the manual and should have probably looked. I did the under tank valves already. As you stated I don’t see the white valve on the 98 diagram.

No I think the clamps only need to be replaced if replacing/disconnecting the fill hoses. For some reason I thought you were swapping the tank not just the straps.

Picked up a Crow 6 point harness for the driver side. Liked that they are somewhat local and can be sent in for recertification when they expire.
Tried the TE's on the car. Love that they're original finish and are in great shape but I may have to refinish them down the road. Not sure about the silver and white. Bronze maybe?

I didn't realize they were in the US, much less NorCal. That is a perk.Insidiouseg6 wrote: ↑Sun Jan 12, 2020 10:07 pm Picked up a Crow 6 point harness for the driver side. Liked that they are somewhat local and can be sent in for recertification when they expire...
I dig the white on silver. I vote get the car on the road, enjoy the car, and refinish down the road if the white doesn't "grow" on you.Insidiouseg6 wrote: ↑Sun Jan 12, 2020 10:07 pm ...Tried the TE's on the car. I may just have to see it on the ground.
They are down in So Cal but close enough! Lol. And yeah that was my plan, see if they'll grow on me after some time.coolhandluke wrote: ↑Mon Jan 13, 2020 10:01 amI didn't realize they were in the US, much less NorCal. I like that they offer all black hardware as an option, plus a military discountInsidiouseg6 wrote: ↑Sun Jan 12, 2020 10:07 pm Picked up a Crow 6 point harness for the driver side. Liked that they are somewhat local and can be sent in for recertification when they expire.
