Re: New Limited Edition CTR
Acura is an entirely different ball of wax. Again, (sadly) much to my dismay and frustration, Acura and Honda act and operate as two separate entities- including their marketing departments.
Acura has been focused on the NSX. Acura is making efforts since the combined Type R Expo 2017 + NSXPO @ Road America towards a Precision Crafted Performance theme. I will also plug some in the Acura marketing who have launched Corral events at Laguna Seca and Road Atlanta in 2019. Both are net-positive, but no, they don't throw the community a bone by discontinuing parts and not offering a replacement vehicle that match's the brand's legacy.

This is interesting. Bravo for New Zealand owners for gaining Honda's attention. I am curious to learn more about the performance upgrades.Purplepassiongsr wrote: ↑Thu Mar 05, 2020 10:29 pm https://www.driven.co.nz/news/news/hond ... ed-for-nz/

The Sport Cup 2's are insane, they fling every single pebble up against the under carriage when sticky/warm.

Yes, one downside of sticky tires is they fling up road debris. I'm okay with this trade off in exchange for superior dry grip.
