Sept Watkins Glen + Barber Community Track Event

Several within the community are returning to Watkins Glen and Barber this fall with Chin. The dates are:
-Sep 7-8, Labor Day Mon-Tues at Watkins Glen
-Sep 12-13, Sat-Sun at Barber Motorsports Park

Chin Registration opens 7/13 for Barber
-Barber: Registration opens 7/13 @ 9pm EST

I wonder if another option is through the local SCCA region for Watkins Glen. In mine, we have a weekend membership to SCCA for I think $15 and it's a lot cheaper to run with the SCCA Central Florida region at Sebring than Chin.

I haven't attended an event with Chin (I do want to), but their prices are premium.

Several in the community have driven Watkins Glen over the years. It was a bucket list for me and I'm thrilled to report it became my new favorite track last July. Even if you just want to come hang out, it's worth the trip. :thumbup:

I will check with Dave to see if he can get line of sight on pricing. My hope is September is cheaper than the summer pricing.

Chin isn't cheap. You're right, there are other options. The track event is a fraction of my total trip cost and I weight the quality of track time with Chin over cheaper options with less quality track time (ie more cars, less track time, etc.)
