So when is this thing available? I need a new daily soon...

Not a fan of all the electronic helpers but in todays regulatory age I dont know if we'll ever get back to the way things were.

Nothing yet. The confirmations that I have seen for the guys in Canada that reserved one say “MSRP to come”. I don’t think MSRP is going to matter though :moneyburn:

I wish Honda implemented similar price strategies as Dodge when they released the limited edition Hellcats. Dealer markups push away buyers like me. I'll pass before lining a dealer's pockets and taking on the risk of someone running a redlight, only to be left with a tab or loss.

when i was in the market for a new car for the wife, i refused to pay markup on any of the trd pro stuff. i told multiple dealers i would buy for msrp and they all said the same thing "others will."

i think dodge earned a lot of respect with the hellcat. no markup, and $1 optional add one race package.

American Honda is putting loyalists in a difficult spot these days:
-Dramatic increase in OEM part prices for Golden Era Honda's (and Acura's)
-Dramatic reduction in available OEM part availability, re: discontinuing parts daily
-Limited new vehicle offerings for loyalists
-Pushing new buyers away via dealer markups

My high mileage 1994 Civic coupe had the AC system replaced summer 2018 because there were no OEM compressor and ancillary parts available according to the dealer. The dealer installed an aftermarket AC system. The belt slipped off the pulley on the way to Expo 18 so I had no AC to Thunderhill and back to SoCal. Dealer replaced the belt. Thought it was fine but all the coolant leaked out by the end of 2019. Times are tight so I'm holding off on getting the AC fixed.

That's an awful story. That pained me to read. :(
