iPhone hookup to stock radio
Re: iPhone hookup to stock radio
The alpine round was also to have l&r swapped vs. the Honda version on the cable.

Using this hooked up the OE radio: http://www.oemautosound.com/p-8-honda-a ... n-aux.aspx
Using their RCA cables to AUX input cable as well -- tried swapping the red/white plugs on RCA input and still no change in sound output. Also when using the radio it only sounds like its coming from the driverside front as well.

Re: iPhone hookup to stock radio
There’s 2 cd changer ports . The later Hondas use a square plug like every Honda connection. The 98 uses a round plug. It’s a alpine plug used in many other models , including European radios.

Here’s the alpine or itr port for a cd changer or tape deck.

Actually you are correct -- I ordered from oemautosound, but was shipped a Blitzsafe item. This one: https://www.blitzsafe.com/catalog/hon-/-aux-v-1.html
I'm almost thinking the internal amp in the ITR radio is busted?
edit: and yes I've tried to adjust the balance as well to test if that was the problem
