They don't look nearly as bad as mine. Wonder if it is lack of batch consistency or what.

My research has indicated that Rocar USA, aka Roca bushings likely produces all the black rubber bushing parts for Hardrace, Megan, Truhart. I am not not sure if they produce Hardraces TPV blue parts though.JDMJNKY wrote: ↑Thu Jun 11, 2020 12:57 am Appreciate this post. it brings attention to the fact that no company will be perfect in all things. Hardrace, Megan, Truhart all originate from the same factory, we know this. It was once said HR added their own twist, but that's debatable. I do second the hardened rubber vs the flashy stuff. I've ran their hardened stuff in the past and would do it again.
Well, it looks like Hardrace has removed the DC2 endlinks and bushings from their website. They were there sometime in the recent past but now they are not on their site.

What difference is there between Mugen's RTA bushing and Spoon's? I have been trying to theme my car with Mugen upgrades but if Spoon is better then that seems to be the obvious choice since their kits are so close in price.Little_Nolan wrote:If I was going to pony up the dough for a new complete kit, I would probably just bite the bullet and buy a Spoon or Mugen kit. I prefer the design of the Spoon RTA bushings over the Mugens, but the rest of the kit is essentially the same and Honda level quality. I believe RHDJapan, ICB motorsports, or King Motorsports are going to be your best source for the either of the full kits.
Thanks for the link to the Spoon kit, I can't find the Mugen kit though! Do you happen to know where it's at? Or is it maybe something we have to piece together?Little_Nolan wrote:I know for sure that both Mugen and Spoon offers full kits and many of their bushings separate from the kits. While prices of Spoon and Mugen stuff has sky rocketed like the OEM parts, the full bushing kit from either manufacturer can be had for 500-600 USD.

Solid info on this thread, glad I didn't pull the trigger on the HR bushing kit Definitely not getting polyurethane either.
Re: Hard Race Bushing Failure - Educational
Mugen only sells their suspension pieces a la carte. Spoon offers a complete suspension bushing kit or the rear trailing arm bushings and front compensator arm bushings separately. Both companies offer a complete five piece motor mount set.

King Motorsports is the North American distributor for Mugen and they sponsor this community's biggest event, Type R Expo:PeteTheCarFreak wrote: ↑Thu Jul 09, 2020 4:23 am ...I can't find the Mugen kit though! Do you happen to know where it's at? Or is it maybe something we have to piece together?

Mugen doesn't sell a complete kit sadly.

Thanks for posting the link Ryan.
I would highly suggest OEM or Moog for front endlinks. After some research, I recently purchased the moog units and they look to be exceptional quality.

Moog is on the right, Hardlyrace on the left.
The moog installation went normal and I am happy with the initial quality. The bushings and metal retainers that are included appear to be high quality as well. I would recommend them to others.

Interesting the moog ones I bought back in 2013 looked a lot different and had zerk fittings, those look beefier.
