He should show where the red wire goes and the instructions. I have done this several times on 96-00 civics and several accessories. When I have seen these on civics the only wire without a plug is the ground, just like that red wire that is supposed to go to the headlights switch. Better yet he should show the pdf. That would be helpful here... guess that supports his you tube video not too.
