Assembled & running (with buyer commitment). This is non-negotiable, this car will not meet your expectations of a MINT ITR at first sight. Your love, passion, desire, and attention to detail can take it there. Simply put, I no longer have the motivation nor time for it. Car just sits in the garage.

Clean Title

[Registration Status]
Since originating to CA, I have not started the registration process. I can complete this in the running and driving package price

[Interior]
Complete interior with JDM Steering wheel. The headliner may have a scuff. See parts list for extras.

[Exterior]
USDM ITR GM wheels, and will need paint.

[Suspension]
Currently sitting on Tein coilovers. See parts list for extras

[Engine/Engine Bay & Drivetrain]
Engine & Transmission will be freshly rebuilt, both R DOT. Transmission will be OE spec + Mfactory LSD. Engine will be OE spec + head work, will be powered by USDM P73 ECU.
Engine bay was once K series and gray. Has since been reverted to B series using NOS trans mount and painted black. Engine bay will require cut and polish.

Depends on your perception of things. Show car? Nope, Re-paint it.

I haven't the slightest clue. There was no engine in it when I purchased it.

Paint is ok, steering wheel is ugly, before installing the bay components, the bay should be wet sanded and polished. I'd replace all bushings and shocks but that's just my MO (mugen shocks are included per above), it could be an awesome daily/track R completed as it sits.

We (Type R Club of America community) can try to offer more details into what we know about the car. Having purchased 98-1040 as a shell, I understand the desire to know more about the car's history.
