What are your plans for replacing the FLCA bushings? That "sunk" bushing is common with age. The new OEM bushings I installed in my 97 showed drop even after a few years.

Your Regamasters = . They are growing on me. I need to get check their BBK clearance.

This is a solid idea.
So the lip did come out much better in person. Sadly last week I had a small accident in the garage where I smashed the front part of the driver side side skirt. So the side skirt and front lip are off and with my friend being painted. I lucked out, the paint place his shop uses for non water based paints sold me the last of the black base for the NH-592 color combo.

I bought complete front arms from rockauto years ago that were ac delco's "professional " line. I have mugen compliance bushings. I was eyeing Mugen bushing last night on the computer lol.

I bough those Regamasters like 8 years ago from a little shop in Cali called Evergreen Motorsports. They specialized in old schools Datson's and toyota's and had a bunch of RM sets they were trying to get rid of. I got that set brand new and shipped for the price of a well used set at the time

Last weekend and this weekend I was able to work some more on the car.

1) the rear lower bar was showing its age so I pulled it off and repainted it along with new bolts. I sanded the original paint and rust spots off then used VHT epoxy paint and an old can of silver I had that matched pretty well.

2) finally finished the final side of the suspension.

Shipment of bolts, couple more on the way. I have all new bolts for the rear lower arms, abs lines, and bolts and bushings for the rear sway bar.

I did get back the newly painted from lip and driver side skirt a few days ago. I may try to tackle that tomorrow evening and I will be ready to go for a drive and see how the new springs and shocks work out.

That's awesome on the RM deal. The wheels look so good on your car, the tires + offset look great. 8-)

The refinished lower tie bar looks OEM, nice work!

Thanks Luke!
I took the car out tonight for a short drive to check for clunks or anything not buttoned down.

Everything checks out A OK. I was surprised that the car actually rode much smoother with the higher spring rates ( lowered 1inch) and koni yellows. I’m guessing the koni’s are on the softest setting out of the box.

One of my belts is squealing badly. That’s next on the list which those parts and more bolts did come in. I bought an ac bracket in better condition than mine and I plan on swapping it out with new bolts that came with my latest Honda shipment and replace my squeaky hawk hp+ pads with something more oem like.

I may do a local cars and coffee out here in the sticks this up coming weekend.

Spent this morning pulling some bolts, aluminum brackets, misc stuff and have them a bath in 30% vinegar. Pulled the PS belt off and the lower bracket and painted it.

Did some cleaning and restoring in the engine bay in the areas I pulled partsImage

Your results look impressive! Can you expand on your steps more in this detailing thread? I recently bought that exact Black trim restore.

I've never bought from them. I get all my stuff from autogeek.net and I have been happy with them.
If you do use/buy the solution finish trim restoring product wear gloves!!! It will stain you hands since it has charcoal in it.
I use paper towels to apply it vs a micro fiber towel since I can just throw away the paper towel and not mess up my micro fiber towels.

I will reply to the detailing thread this weekend with this job I did on the engine bay and some of the other products I have and use.

I'm currently waiting on some parts from mother Acura in the mail.
