[WTB] 98-01 Front Bumper and Front Lip Spoiler

Post by aV8ter » Thu Dec 03, 2020 11:39 am

Location: ATL, GA; Willing to travel long and far to pick up, I know shipping is a nuisance.

Looking for a front bumper and front lip for 98-01. Ideally new in box/package, but also interested in used if in very good condition.

Looks like the front bumper is still available through the dealers
p/n 04711-ST7-A91ZZ

I would recommend ordering from AcuraExpressParts/IRUNOEM
https://www.acuraexpressparts.com/ as they are an ITR Expo sponsor.

The lip is going to be tough because they are discontinued. IDT Customs on Instagram has some I believe. It won't be cheap though. https://www.instagram.com/idt_customs/

Thanks for the insight into the bumper. I was originally told the front bumper was discontinued. Seems there is a separate PN for the ITR that is no longer available. Base mode number you posted is still available, I'll grab one from the local dealer.

I checked with IRUNOEM yesterday about the lip, he unfortunately doesn't have any left. I'll look into IDT.

Yes ,for some reason they have a different part number. No one has been able to explain the difference between the two . I saw a lip posting somewhere in used condition. If I see it again I will post it here.

That's weird.

I bought a new bumper cover for my '00 GSR in Dec 2019 and it was around $280, so I thought it was worth going new vs. used.

I can share insights from RBoosted717 in a separate thread for why there are different front bumper PN's question.

The short answer is a none-R bumper is near identical and can be purchased here:

Current: 98-1040 Stolen 12/22/21

What is the going rate for an excellent condition used lip? I would rate my spare used lip at 9 out of 10 for condition. I may be willing to part with it for the right price. I am in Jacksonville FL.
