Hello from Idaho
Hello from Idaho
Hey all,
Just joined the forum and wanted to say hello and introduce myself. I am really impressed with the knowledge base and overall "adultness" of the forum.
I have a JDM ITR that should be loaded up for transport any day now and landing in LA in mid to late Feb (although i cant pick it up until late March for various reasons, not the least of which is hopefully better weather for a drive up the 1, home). I have been looking over this forum for the last week or so and so many of my questions have already been answered, so thank you again.
I live just outside of Jackson Hole, on the Idaho side, and am fortunate to have some great, and secluded drivers roads all around me. The ITR will be joining a JDM ST205 Celica GTFour that i use to scratch the itch for drives in the winter on snow/gravel, BMW Z4 M Coupe and an Audi RS6 (C5 generation). I've recently owned several other great drivers cars but am headed back to my roots with the ITR.
I grew up idolizing them like most my age and spent way too many hours watching Option videos and sending off for Japanese car mags in my late teens. Extremely excited for the car to arrive.
It does have a INGS +1 front bumper and side skirts, with C West rear bumper. I'll likely give it a shot for awhile but may want to go back to stock eventually. Beyond that, its a relatively stock car with only 55k miles, was bought directly from an owner (not an auction car) and as such has fully service history along with all the factory manuals etc.
Any how, enough with the rambling. Hello and I hope to contribute to this really cool community as I realize a childhood dream here soon.

Re: Hello from Idaho
What color is your ITR?
I am jealous of your driving roads in ID/WY. I plan to move to more secluded parts like that in a few years.

Yeah the roads up here are amazing, especially compared to SLC where I have lived till just recently with way more traffic.

Welcome! Solid choice in CW. I have driven mine a few times in your area. Back when I would track at Miller motorsports park. Post some photos of the caR.

Thank you, will do on the pics when I get it. Hoping for a nice little road trip home.
Hoping to track the ITR at Miller (now UMC). Should be much cheaper on consumables than others I’ve run.
Re: Hello from Idaho
Not to turncoat on the ITR, but I've always had a soft spot for the ST205 for its rally lineage. Would you mind posting some pics of your gravel eater too?

If you use Tapatalk app it will host photos for you. If not you may need an external host.L1MTD wrote:Absolutely.
