Itr side mirror question

Question for you gurus. Is the itr side mirrors a housing that can be changed if I have some scratches or the whole side mirrors has to be changed ?

They are a pain to disassemble. You also will have to depin the connector to pull the motor out. I recommend you get a junkyard replacement to try first. There’s a screw you can’t see where you end up breaking it . The fsm doesn’t show that you need to depin anything but my experience the plug doesn’t clear the entry point for the harness to go in or out. I may have posted pics on this site ? I know if I did I didn’t receive any response.
