Welcome, Idaho is a nice area.
Thank you. It’s been a great car, though recently got bit with one of their Achilles heels and that’s leaking capacitors in the ECU.

Tackling it myself now.....my poor ECU.

Just a quick update.

Finally picked up the car the last week of March and road tripped home with my wife. Haha the J’s Racing exhaust “ain’t it” for a dude now in his 40’s. It was more harsh than the same trip we did last year in our Exige S that’s now moved on.

But, that said, it got a shocking amount of attention. I’m typically one to avoid cars like that and I never expected it but I got stopped at almost ever gas station with someone losing their mind seeing a JDM ITR in person.

Several people literally ran up to the car as I was leaving the pumps to talk and take photos. Beyond that, almost every hundred miles or so someone would roll up next to us and video or take photos and thumbs up. Again, did a similar trip/route in an amazing Exige S almost exactly a year before and got half of the attention then. Wild.

We ended up taking some fun roads home at the end and the car felt great. But the real test was on some roads I know well and drive other cars on frequently and that came the next weekend.

I say this in all sincerity and not playing to the crowd....it’s the single funnest car I’ve ever driven. I simply can’t believe how well it moves “under” you. I sent texts to all my friends that are car people immediately after 2 hours of driving to say “get one of these....NOW!”.

What an incredible car.

Rock on! It's great to get the car out and simply enjoy it.

Awesome! Mine had those same rear speakers back when I got it. Does it still have a flashy double DIN head unit? I regret getting rid of my one...

LOL, yes on the double DIN. In fact, exact same model that came in my ST205 and that car has very similar 6x9’s too! Must be a whole vibe over there!

Could you please get a pic? I can't even remember quite what that head unit looked like, but have semi wanted to try to find another. Possibly we had the same audio option. Seems like there were quite a few.

We are talking aftermarket double DIN right? Sorry for the bad pic.
