Thank you!coolhandluke wrote: ↑Mon Mar 29, 2021 4:27 pmWhoa huge congrats! I was going to compliment how clean the suspension looks with the anodized forks, but the family additional takes priority.
That's the garage rug! I wouldn't be able to read or write if I was putting car parts in the house. I'd be in a cast.
Thank you!
Got the axles and suspension mostly buttoned up. Went to bleed the clutch line and found we had a faulty clutch master. So a night of crawling under the dash and new one is installed and working well. The axles and hubs turned under its own power for the first time in over 20+ years. (There were no wheels on it yet, and we were making sure trans would engage each gear before we fully tightened up) All went well.
Next step was brakes, so I busted out the OEM rotors and calipers, only to find out that the brake master cylinder is shot. Same symptom the clutch was having. So now that is on order and hopefully we can get a video of this thing moving on the ground under its own power, off of the lift. Praying its just the cylinder and not the booster. The booster is the OG '97 unit and the labels and stamps on it are clear as day. I would hate to have to replace.....
So that being said, here is a pic of the OEM rotors and calipers all mounted up. Whole wheel well coming together!!
Stay tuned, more incoming
