That’s a great question since we didn’t have phones with cameras back then...lol. I’ll Have to look back through actual pictures. Doesn’t look much different though...

Take your time. The market has only been getting hotter, so there is no rush. This may also be a scenario where once sold, one may not be able to "afford" buying another, I know I couldn't. And that's on top of the memories/history/expertise in this specific car. For me, there is only one other ITR I would consider buying to replace mine. He knows who he is.Brnice wrote: ↑Thu May 20, 2021 10:37 pm I’m not really sure what it is worth, and not positive I’m ready to let go of it yet. Also, thinking it’s as good an investment as any at the moment.
I really wasn’t sure how you would even go about selling a car like this. Everyone has been a great help. I will definitely put it up on this site first, I would love for it to go to someone who loves these cars. I promise to post new and better pictures then.
I feel your pain. I need to pool my old photos and migrate off PB to Flickr/personal photo host. One day...

Gotta be worth 50-60. Could be more if it was white.

As a Brown person, this is kind of offensive!!
Sorry, it was sitting right there, I had to take it!!

Thanks, it helps to get an idea. Yes, the older model white ones seem to be going for more right now. I often wonder about the first models being worth more than the last year made model.... or is it the color itself?

In the USA 1997 brings the most money as there are one year differences such as front and rear bumpers, headlights, steering wheel and more. It was sold in low numbers.
Color seems to be the second indicator. Championship white, Phoenix Yellow and then black tend to bring the most money in that order. Or course condition always drives the sale price.
In Canada we got CW for all years 97-01 and Phoenix Yellow in 2000 only. Phoenix yellow brings a premium if you could find one.

When we were shopping fo a car, I wanted something unique, and we were in the Acura dealer and I saw the flyer for the R (I still have that flyer..lol) it was love at first sight. Of coarse they didn’t have any available. But, they took a $1,000 down payment. Nearly a year later, we got the call. They had one coming in! We had no idea what color it was. It was like getting a new baby with out knowing if it was a boy or a girl...Lol

I would be interested In purchasing your car. I’m a 38 yr old enthusiast who always wanted one of these since high school. Wife already gave me the all clear. I could give you $40k cash for it. However, as some others have mentioned, you could probably get more from BaT. But then again, you’ll be selling to someone who will actually enjoy it for a long time while taking good care of it and leaving it stock. Just let me know.
