I'm getting mixed signals on if I can use a OE style replacement K&N with the CT Engineering Icebox Intake.
A put a K&N on a few months ago, but now looking at the Icebox since the factory resonator down below is in a minimum of two (not factory produced) pieces.

You can use the K&N oe filter in the icebox but you will not be able to use the CT air horn/filter adapter. It's designed to use a generic K&N cone filter or the unifilter foam filter heel/toe sells. One of the benefits of the CT air filter adapter is the built in velocity stack which does help these motors breath.

You can also use the Spoon air filters, if you like top shelf.
