New to me ITR
Hi all - Introducing myself and my recently acquired 2000 ITR. I bought one new in 1999 (‘00 in black) and foolishly sold it when I moved to a different part of the country. Always wanted to find a good one and I did a few weeks ago on BAT. An excellent buying experience and am fully enjoying it - puts a smile on my face every time I’m in it. My kids love it.

Beautiful! Non-faded interior looks so nice!
Did you buy this off a member on this site?
Do you know where your original Type R is? When did you sell it?
Is that your Spec E46 racecar?

Hi Andy - I think I did buy it from someone who is a member here but not sure what his screen name is.AndyD wrote:Beautiful! Non-faded interior looks so nice!

I have no idea where my original one is. I sold it in 2002 to a Toyota dealer in Cincinnati. The GM said he was going to give it to his son. I remember the badge number being in the 700s I think.
No, not my e46. It was one of the many cars at this vehicle storage facility where I picked up the R. Great place.

Re: New to me ITR
Congrats on your purchase. So weird how these cars are the same yet I thought that was the recent one on bat . Beautiful are you going to put the Oem headlights back in ? I am perplexed why someone changed them in the first place.

Oh, wow. Do you remember which dealership it was? I went to UC from 1995-1999.
What are your plans for the car?

It is the recent one from BAT. Seller and I came to deal after the auction ended and reserve had not been met.Stin1 wrote:Congrats on your purchase.
