Haven't fired it up yet. Sorting some things in the cabin.

Interior update. I've decided to remove the dash redo the foam for the AC components. Not the best picture but it should illustrate the cleaning just fine.
as D day nears, stopped by Acura for a battery, a fresh key, and a keychain
Acura now fills they key. it was a lot worse but i scratched off the excess.
pulled entire carpet for cleaning
after a water rinse
after chemical guys citrus cleaner
Upon removing the carpet I stumbled upon this guy....a whole in the floor. It looked like a bullet hole by the exit would. Throughout all the work I've put in, all the times i've looked at this car, I've never once seen this whole. I was upset, I almost sold the car to a buddy who was there as the tears fell. I tried tapping it upward back into shape, being flustered didn't help. Long story short, after cleaning, I reached a simple solution. Plug it, and seal it. Beats me warping the panel any further by welding it.
it did setup much nicer than the photo and almost looks factory. I was pleased with it. Reflecting on what transpired I was disappointed in myself for not keeping my cool on this one earlier.
Lastly ordered some speakers, looking for a slight audio improvement. The review on amazon had the bass improvement I was looking for. They're no sound off competition speaker(s), but just right for a simple upgrade.

Small update, been a rough month to say the least. My buddy, Our brother, our co worker passed 10/16, then Grandmother in law, who was basically my wifes Mother, on 11/13, then came the flu.... taking the whole family by storm.
some decals we made in his honor
forgot all about this seized bolt, tried everything i could to get it out. In the end I truly had to do some precision drilling, After chasing the hole with a tap, a bolt threaded just fine.
Put the yellow doors back on, the white doors were RHD. installed new window regulators, oem glass, LHD itr door harnesses and the speakers.
about a week ago I found a driver side fender, the seller had it since 2008.

Glad to hear you’re hanging tough. The ability to take those kind of hits and keep going shows real character.

2022 update. HBNY!
finally got around to getting the rear seats installed. Waited so long for the seat clips to arrive. Years ago I saved some, I even purchased some at the Jyard, how did I loose them all? IDK. Luckily, I was able to source them new.
dusty pic, but lets hope after the final assembly and cleaning they return to how I remember them. If not, I'll have to hit the garage shelf for set. B

Looking good! A complete interior was on my horizon and I relate to the seat clip struggles.
