I like it. I'm thinking about doing the same for mine.aklackner wrote: ↑Thu Sep 09, 2021 11:18 pmEDM and JDM look to have the name plate placed there. USDM has the Acura name badge in the same place.Dave7CDMTYPER wrote:I like the "Honda" letter badge too. Is that the JDM stock badge/location?
I’m haven’t placed it yet but am leaning towards it. Fits well with the simpler 97 feel I’ve targeted.

My gardeners came through with a blower before I could get the ITR out of the way or covered
I came from another forum with a guy complaining about this guy, then to your thread.

Roof turned out pretty good. Has a glaze on it curing. Roof will still get a coat of wax, then I have the hood to polish and rubber trim to clean up.
Dumb, Stubborn, and bound to end up penniless…….
Polishing/wax complete
I think this finally means the repaint is complete!!!

What a rocky day.
I found a fabricator who looked like they could take care of the outlet flange on the LHT custom supercharger header I’ve had on the shelf waiting to go on.
I knew the flange wouldn’t mate with any coupling I could find and LHT recommended have someone local customize it.
Dropped the ITR at Fabtech Welding and fabrication Monday afternoon. Today (Tuesday) I get the call no one wants. Everything is pulled apart but the header won’t clear my already slim fan setup. It’s cool though because Fabtech had my back and had a plan. I didn’t end up getting the LHT header in but did get a higher flowing set up with GReddy Supreme SP cat back and in place. They automatically customized the mounts required to make it a secure fit and ensure no contact for the massive 3” piping. A couple mating flanges were upgraded to vband for repeatable leak free mounting. I can’t over state how much I recommend the Fabtech guys. I’ll be doing more business here.
Here’s the ITR with new exhaust
Here’s a shot of some of their next level welding
I followed up with LHT about a the header (which I only purchased initially after they confirmed it was mad to fit OEM clearance. Got a common story that they’ve made tons of these and never had an issue. Later in the day I get a message that a friend confirmed to fit he had to modify radiator brackets and ultimately swapped one fan to the front side in as a pusher! LHT did offer to modify my header to create more clearance but I’m just not down for more headaches from custom parts made without access to the car.

What rear trunk mat is that? This could help easily me reduce road noise in my car. My intention to get a hot rod shop to make a custom carpet cover has fallen off my radar.

Just a universal weather-tech trunk mat.
Has nice pattern to cut to shape clean. It was maybe $40 at Target.
This one sat on top of the wrecked LS shell to help keep the cover in place for a couple years but cleaned up great, so it’s incredibly durable too.
