That's nice work on your part.
2022 Acura Integra Clip
Re: 2022 Acura Integra Clip
I just used the TLX to compare the side profiles. I wish I was that good!

Re: 2022 Acura Integra Clip
Although I agree, I don't see it happening. I think the Type R name might actually fade out after the 11th gen CTR as they shift to electric. Plus, they've made it clear that Type-S, and not R, will be Acura.Dave7CDMTYPER wrote: ↑Thu Sep 30, 2021 9:40 am I've said it before, I'll say it again.

I'm curious how the new CTR vs ITS will compare.
Re: 2022 Acura Integra Clip
Very interested in this. I was hoping the Integra would be the lightweight NA we all wanted, although that would probably make it smaller than the CTR, which would be weird.I'm curious how the new CTR vs ITS will compare.
Also being an Acura it's meant to be somewhat luxury. Never quite understood how that jived with the old ITR.

Re: 2022 Acura Integra Clip
In the states we got Acura as luxury line. The product line had to set itself from a Honda or it would never be successful. Later on in life the Acura brand used the integra . It was certainly more refined in terms of the civic counterparts.Klasse wrote: ↑Thu Sep 30, 2021 2:55 pmVery interested in this. The first twin cam we got was the 92 gsr. It has a 1.7 liter. Quite different compression from all comparisons. Honda released the b16a in the del sol . I don’t think sales went as planned,?
Acura released 94-01 integra. The brand was very successful. The type r fell into the branding and the brand loyalty today you and I respect and love , Racing! They later released the alphanumeric integra labeled the rsx .
The rsx lacked the double wishbone suspension , maybe the soul of the original car? I don’t know, I like the car but it certainly didn’t feel a wow . Acura didn’t seem to disagree with me there , they discontinued the car. The dealership employees were telling me they never come back the dealership when they were new.

Re: 2022 Acura Integra Clip
Acura's original brand was precision performance, hence the Acura logo. The brand identity shifted towards luxury afterwards. At the joint Type R Expo + NSXPO the R&D teams behind the new NSX spoke about the shift back towards the precision performance roots.

The tagline in use today, "Precision Crafted Performance", was also in use when Acura first came out.

This is from 2016. It's the Acura Precision Concept designed by Michelle Christensen. I think the Integra will take styling cues from the concept.
