SOLD Eibach Multi Pro R2 Coilover Setup
SOLD! I have a set of these rare coilovers for sale. Selling because I am returning the car to stock, as it is just a garage queen these days. Only 1,689 miles on these. Two track days and three autocrosses on them. Everything that you would get with them new will be included: Original box, rebound adjuster, reservoir mounting clamps, line clamps, spring perch adjusters, and original instructions. The set is completely functioning and performs excellent. No leaks.
The set is not perfect despite the low miles. Here are the issues, all are pictured:
- Cosmetic scratches and scuffs on one of the rear reservoir decals.
- One of the rear units does not click when the rebound knob is turned. The rebound adjustment still functions, there is just no audible click. You can "feel" it when turning, if that makes sense.
- The spring perch adjuster tool has the small nub broken off. You can likely source one of these from Eibach, or just use something else of a similar size to turn the lower perches. Larger nubs are intact.
- One of the front units has some cosmetic damage to the coating on the shock reservoir line near where it bolts to the shock.
- The other front unit has some damage on the coating on the shock reservoir line where it rubbed away, revealing the braided line underneath. Once I saw the rub, I rerouted it so it would not get worse, and wrapped it in electrical tape.
Please note that the shock bodies are quite long by design and there is not too much bump travel if you want to slam them. I highly recommended cutting the front bumpstops if you want to lower more than half an inch. I only lowered by that much so I did not cut them. Because of the design, there is a lot of droop travel compared to other coilover setups, and traction is excellent.
SOLD $1600 plus actual shipping and 3% for PayPal fees. If you are local in the Bay Area CA you can pick up of course.

Looks like spring rates are 450 front 400 rear?

Oh yeah forgot to mention rates! Yes they are 450 front 400 rear, this is how they came new.
Here's a pic about .5 inch lower where I had it, I'm not a super low kind of guy. You can see there are a bunch threads still left on the shock bodies so you could theoretically totally dump the car on these.
These are great for a weekend car, on full soft they ride very nice.

Re: Eibach Multi Pro R2 Coilover Setup
You posted a screaming deal, regardless of mileage. These are the best double-adjustable setups in the $~2400 price range (MSRP) and half the cost of JRZ's, yet US made and serviced.
"Streetable" is a moving target based off the individual, but the quality of the damper is key, Eibach R2's are quality dampers.
These are the Off the Shelf (OTS) rates. Depending on vendor, one could customize the spring rates at time or order to change later. As I discuss in the Suspension tuning thread, I ran Eibach R2's with 450lb F/400lb R in 97 #00171 and 650lb F / 750lb R in #981040. The different use cases lead to the suspension design, including spring rates.

Dang it, missed them -- owned a set in the past, loved them - want another set if anyone else has some kicking around.
