I really wish they would have gone with a coupe. I really feel like that’s one thing their lineup is missing. It looks good from the rear but I think the new civic hatch pulls off that sloped rear “hatchback” styling off better. Happy to see the name back, I’ll wait to see what the type S model offers. I’m sure social media is going to be interesting tomorrow.

Without seeing the interior or engine specs/MT gear ratios I think I prefer the look of the civic hatch with the HFP exterior package.
