What other cars do you have?
What other cars do you have?
Curious what other cars the community currently has. What's your favorite if it's not your ITR?

Re: What other cars do you have?
What cars do I currently have, have I bought from the community, or how many Honda's (To clarify for Acura execs reading, "Acura's") have I owned?

Re: What other cars do you have?
Well good question, as that's a more fun example. Chronologically:
-98-1040: Purchased shell locally via friend. I sold to mstewar in '07 and purchased back in Sept '08 after winning the longblock at Type R Expo 8 from Baranco Acura.
-1989 CRX: Purchased from journeytypeR, sold locally.
-1995 GS-R: Traded 98-0197 to Little_Nolan in exchange for a '95 GS-R built by cheezthis (King Motorsports engine), who had traded the GS-R to Little_Nolan in exchange for the '97 VSM DB8R.
The story continues, Little_Nolan had traded his 97 #00322 to Nolan for that DB8R. Nolan later sold that '97 to ICB Matt, and that's the '97 that's been featured on ICB's website the past ~decade+. Little_Nolan later sold 98-0197 to elaum who later sold it to Devon. Last I heard, #980197 was now in Texas with a jdm front.
More, I later sold the GS-R to Dan (Chwalisaurus) to purchase #010187 and the GS-R was later taken out by a black bear in WV.
-01-0187: Purchased from Brad (SN?) and sold to Comp97GSR. Funny story, TurboLS flew me up and let me crash to assist with the trip from MD back to SC. TSA had questions with why I was flying up with an Alpine stereo.... #010187 was later sold locally and then acquired by Brandson (SN?)
-2001 Civic Si, aka Sibus (SI-bus): Purchased from PrinceAli, who purchased from Mugen Mike, who purchased from B18CXr, who bought it new. I sold the car to Chris N, who sold to Johnny Tran / Silky Johnson, who sold locally. This car spent ~290k 100% within the Type R community and last I heard, still lived on. Check out more pictures of the infamous Sibus here. Recap: NC-> WI-> FL-> CA-> IL-> SC.
-2007 S2000: Purchase from PrinceAli and a few years later...PrinceAli bought it back.
-2010 CR-Z Ex: Sold to novtecforme
-2008 TSX Purchased from IRUNOEM and later sold to jdmspoonitr
-2001 Integra LS: Purchased from IRUNOEM

Re: What other cars do you have?
I have this.
Re: What other cars do you have?
2014 accord sport manual. Typical Honda reliability. Only major repair maintenance wise was the clutch at 169k . Unfortunately it’s cursed and has been hit multiple times. No structural damage but it’s cursed.
Here’s one of the latest, uhaul turned and dragged on the front fender , wheel, bumper and tore it off .Re: What other cars do you have?
My favorite is this .
Re: What other cars do you have?
Pretty cool to see cars stay in the community.
I tried to buy two new ITRs and both times it fell through. Tried to buy a 1998 ITR in Cincinnati in 1998. The dealership couldn't give it away. I had a 1996 Accord LX sedan at the time and someone t-boned it. At 23K miles, I thought it was totaled. My dad was able to get it fixed for $5500. Insurance gave me $17k for it and I bought the car back for $3500.
Jan 2001 I got into another accident in my Accord. This time the damage was too bad. Tried to find a Sunlight Yellow ITR but couldn't locate one. Most were sold out. I then decided to buy a 2001 BMW 325ci brand new.
Met a bunch of cool car guys on the BMW forums. Got into tracking in 2002. Didn't want to track my 325 so I looked for a project car. Mainly looked for 92-93 Accords. Would randomly look at Preludes but they were usually out of my price range. One day ran across a 1992 Prelude Si 4WS for an unbelievable price at the time $1850. He was asking $2500.
It needed a lot of work but pretty much everything it needed I was going to replace anyway. Swapped in a JDM H22 full swap that I got for a fantastic deal. $1550 and it came with a ton of parts that I could sell. After selling off the H23 swap and extra H22 parts, I got the H22 swap for free.
Kept it for 10 years. By this time it needed a lot of work. A friend was selling a 1997 M3 coupe for $4000. Just made sense to buy it and sell my Prelude. I do miss it and hope to buy a 94-96 in the future.
Always looked at the Type R forum but never bought one. I was dedicated to paying my house off.
Then I got into buying project cars that I could restore and turn a profit.
I currently own the following:
2008 Mugen Si Civic
2004 Porsche 911 C2
2002 Prosche 911 C2 Spec996 racecar
2004 BMW 330i ZHP 6-spd
2003 Accord V6 6-spd coupe
2001 325ci (original owner)
1995 M3
1994 Corvette 6-spd
1989 240SX SR20 swapped in great shape
