Hey Ryan,
I'm sorry man-that just sucks.
Is there anything people outside the San Jose area can do?

Thank you all who have offered their sympathy. I wasn't the first to have my ITR stolen and sadly I likely won't be the last as parts prices continue to rise. I've now witness first hand new trends so it's likely time we as a community updated our security recommendations. My security layers helped- but they didn't stop them.

I welcome help in finding ITR for sale adds, particularly for '97 & '98 ITR's. I'm already working with insurance and my next steps are to build a portfolio of what the car was (1) and what market values are (2.)

I am really sorry to hear about your car. How did they get access to it ? I saw your Reddit post and the guy mentioned that the car used is a well known thief that steals Miata hardtops. Have the cops spoken with this guy about this?

I would like the suspect's info just to drive by and see any Integra parts.

Re: Stolen - 98-1040 San Jose CA
Damn it's stripped. Well my New Year didn't start out well. Someone tried stealing my ITR but couldn't and luckily it's still here. But they did break in the car and stole the entire system, broke a key in the ignition and passenger door handle and scratched up the paint on the driver side door jam, and cracked the climate control.
Happened Jan 6 and I barely got back the estimate last week from AAA. Still waiting for the pay out so I can fix the car but they are not paying for any of the system at all, radar detector, dash cam and same for my renters insurance. It sucks!
Hope you get some money back from your insurance. By the way, what insurance company do you have? Need to find another insurance company that will cover aftermarket parts.
