That's a sexy CD player!

I'm in the middle of rehabbing a 1992 NSX radio-at 25 years or so all the capacitors go bad and start to leak. It might be worth cracking one open and looking at the capacitors-they're getting towards the end of their service life.

One of the things we've learned is that even if the Honda PN is the same there are internal differences across the years. Basically Alpine would change the design of the internal board based on chip/part availability and improvements in the design itself.
I am not taking it apart but I may consider it going to an appropriate home. It has a scratch… not perfect but it’s a new operational CD player that I have tested.

Whoops-should have been more clear.

I meant the radios probably have internal differences despite identical part numbers, and also probably have dying caps.

NSXprime.com is a good place to list the CD player.
