and there goes the likely hood of me ever getting an itr again. i know a lot of the SoCal ITR owners think their car just doubled in price. Even salvage title shells gonna be like 20k now.

I would say be patient, as there are larger forces at play with people prioritizing hobbies the last two years and the global supply chain limiting new vehicles.
None of this will prevent me (and shouldn't you/anyone else) from attending this year's Type R Expo. I'll have a beverage waiting for you.

Clean example ITR values are not driven by “the current state of the economy” Can the Economy affect the car collector community and auction values as a whole? Sure. Like anything it’s worth what someone’s willing to pay. As time passes value increases and luckily with the ITR, desirability and rarity will always be there. Fortunately the wealth of the demographic is just starting to build so I’m excited to see values in 10-15yrs.
