Shopping for a new radiator on the track caR… options?

Post by Jdmspoonitr » Tue Jun 28, 2022 11:55 am

Yooo been a minute.

Trying to get my hpde car back into good running order. My old C&R slim has a small leak, so looking to replace it.

Anyone have suggestions on a good reliable aluminum radiator that performs better than stock and isn’t chrome?

-stock b18c5
-old hytech header (pre-reversion chambers)
-no a/c, but would love to add it back some day

Thanks!

I have personally run:
*Fluidyne + SMSP header
*Koyo + SMSP header

I prefer all-aluminum, ie avoid multi-material radiators like OEM, since the joint/seams fail.

Full size koyo with a gen 1 toda header and factory ac.

You may want to look at slim fans or trim the shroud on the fans just some added clearance
