Well stated, I enjoy reading through build threads. I hope the community continues to create and share via build threads.

Lovely build. This brings me back because my first car was a 98 SSBP GSR.
Re: Project G.eezS.R. Build thread
Replaced the rear wheel bearings recently using the NTN bearings off of rock auto. I picked up a rear 96 spec rear trailing arm to compare to my 98 spec RTA. I’m sure this has been done already but I wanted to verify it for myself. Effectively the 96 spec, Usdm, and EK9 all have the same spindles (except on abs options) and can all accommodate the Usdm rear wheel bearing. The main difference is the rear spindles being offset wider than the other versions.
‘98 spec rear spindle thickness of 24mm
‘96 spec,USDM,EK9 rear thickness of 12mm
‘96 spec rear spindle allows for proper engagement and torque with retaining washer of 5x114.3 hub/bearing assemblies.01-1058: Sold
