Seems mislabeled on amayama, but the price and the part number lead me to believe this might be a RTA. The cross reference is confusing - it might be a 4D only, but on other sites there shows a clear cross between 3D/4D for other part numbers so I wouldn't think it would be specific.

If the other is mislabeled and misweighted, I suspect they will fix shipping to make it look more like this one before purchase.

It seems that all disc brake RTA be mostly interchangeable as you suggested in your original post.

(driver side)

eBay says "Driver's side" specifically. Amayama I provided are for Left Side (the one that is mislabelled as "steering gear"). You're right on the jp-parts link though - Check 18 on the diagram in the jp-parts site.
