Will be leaving Florida sometime between Monday and Friday, and getting back to Florida sometime between Wednesday-Sunday after expo.

Depends on the drinking plans around the event.

And going to go to VIR for a Chin track day on Tuesday the 5th...

Ooooo, VIR.

My plans are TBD. Once the EG is wrapped, I'l confirm on flights in/return, and joining in on VIR.

I'm hoping this will be the shortest expo drive ever. And in for VIR afterwards if things work out.

Craig - Who hasn't had an expo driver shorter than 12hrs.. ever.

That would require the TX NSXCA group to join up with us along with big support from American Honda, the CTR group, etc. Perfect storm kind of thing considering COTA's very high cost. Think Road America and double it...just to walk in the door.

I've run COTA and while it was fun, I really don't think it's worth an Expo there. Our cars just don't have the speeds for that track to fully enjoy it. I'd rather spend half as much and go to Mid Ohio.

Although, I do want to go to great tracks out there and not some little, unknown ones just for the sake of it being cheap. I think places like VIR, Mid-Ohio and Road America are perfect. I really think we need to try to have an Expo at Road Atlanta and Watkins Glen. I know cost is a factor, but why not go to tracks that are world renowned.

Not sure about Road Atlanta or Watkins Glen, but I definitely see your point about COTA with lower HP cars on average. I was told the same with Daytona...our cars don't really get the speed up to make it worth while, but for me, it's a bucket list track and I do plan to go on it. Just my $0.02.
