Anyone have a CTR on this board?
I'll be picking up a champ white in Iowa in the first week of September.

Just curious, what are people's thoughts on the car in general? Even from those who don't have one? Any feedback from those who actually do own one? I've only sat in one and really like the overall quality of the car. It's a bit over the top on styling, but I actually like it overall. I would love to take it for a spin on a track. I did see they did a Buttonwillow test day with one and it threw down a 2:03. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5QCxjEYL3L8

The car appears to overheat on the track just after one lap. Honda is saying there's a possible defective part. We shall see.Sort of Fast wrote: ↑Wed Aug 16, 2017 11:25 am Just curious, what are people's thoughts on the car in general? Even from those who don't have one? Yes I saw that about the overheating issue. I haven't seen one in person yet.

A 2:03 out of the gate is pretty quick IMO. Add sticky tires and remedy the cooling issues and it could be a solid platform.

I wonder if it's just the Evasive CTR or if all CTRs would overheat in those Buttonwillow conditions.

I haven't seen one in person yet but hope to soon.
I did ask some from AHM about arranging an arrive and drive. We'll see if it goes anywhere...

Others noted similar issues. I think 1 lap by Evasive was the worst case, but I saw others saying a few laps, some saying 6 laps etc at various tracks.
