Those are from JourneyTypeR's first and second home.

I spoke with two of the previous owner's yesterday. JourneyTypeR just had a baby so his responses may be delayed/limited. Asahi will chime in shortly.

Thanks. The engine bay one I accidentally posted the wrong one . I tried to remove it and it just posted the set of pics again. Don't try to edit Tapatalk pics from the website . Whoops.

Hello! So glad to see 98-940 being restore to good condition. To date I refer to selling her as my biggest car mistake in my life.

I bought 98-940 from either the first or second owner in Olathe, KS (I cannot for the life of me remember his name). I paid $16,000 for the car with 48,000 ,miles on it. I flew out and stayed with Budman and bought it the next day and drove it home to Murfreesboro, TN. Here is is with 00-891 that I owned first and had sold but not had picked up yet.

I owned the car from 2001 to 2005 if I recall correctly. I know Ryan ( @coolhandluke ) said 06 or 07 but I am almost positive it was around June 2005. During the time I owned it here are the things that were done. All OEM pieces were meticulously kept and stored and sold with the car.

Cams: Swapped Intake Came for 2000 OEM Type-R Cam (original kept and sold with car)
Header: Installed JDM 4-1 Header, Comptech Header, Toda (I can't remember if I sold the car with the Toda or the OEM Header on it but OEM header was included)
Muffler: OEM to Comptech back to OEM
ECU: Power FC, Hondata S200 (OEM Kept ECU and Sold with car)
Suspension: OEM to TEIN to Zeal B6 to OEM
Intake: OEM to Comptech Icebox (OEM Intake sold with car too)
Transmission: OEM Flywheel, ACT Clutch, ATS 4.9 Final Drive (best modification to the car, maybe tied with Hondata) (All OEM transmission parts sold with car)
Wheels: OEM, Mazda Millinium, Gunmetal OEM, Rota (Rotated through)
Lights: Phillips HID Kit

I think it was 2004 that I went to Nopi at Atlanta Motor Speedway with the DaveROR and Yack and a few other guys helped me swap the final drive. On that trip I was rear ended in traffic by a stupid kid in a Civic Si. I had to have the rear bumper replaced and painted. That was the only accident to date that I think it had been in. Original bumper was kept since it wasn't totally ruined and sold with the car to maintain original parts.

ALL Stock parts were kept and boxed and sold with the car in 2005 (Including the replaced due to accident rear bumper)

98-940 was driven by me at Expo 3 (Car # 309) and Expo 4.
