Re: Bat 98
17.5 seems kind of high to me considering the engine was rebuilt.

The plot thickens haha.
Re: Bat 98
I dont think a properly rebuilt engine hurts a vehicles sale price. However going to a k20 and then a jdm engine i would say it does.Dave7CDMTYPER wrote: ↑Sat May 12, 2018 7:17 pm 17.5 seems kind of high to me considering the engine was rebuilt.

Yea that's what I meant basically. It's still nice, but it's not a unicorn anymore. But I'd still think that a rebuilt oem engine would reduce the sale price somewhat. But as time goes along this effect might become less relevant.604ITR wrote: ↑Mon May 14, 2018 12:22 pmI dont think a properly rebuilt engine hurts a vehicles sale price. It did pretty well considering it's history.
The reasonable mileage and the fact it has been brought closer to stock helped a lot.
Chasing down used stock parts is getting more challenging every year.

I dunno...that jump to 17,500 from 2,500 seems fishy to me.touringteg wrote:It did pretty well considering it's history.

Re: Bat 98
We will know if the buyer honors the purchase agreement? The first price jump was insanity yet it still climbed slightly in the end. It does seem a bit fishy to me. Also surprised that a car that has been through the ringer in terms of engine failure and swaps, tracked, etc yet when put back to near stock form it still commands a tall price.
