Absolutely incredible :trophy: . I love living vicariously through threads like this.

I too would like to hear about clearing all the bolts and bits. I'd say yes for sure given the level of restoration you have accomplished so far but without knowing costs and effectiveness it's hard to assess. Doing it at this point would produce a large level of over-spray no? Perhaps it should have been done before assembly so each piece could get equal attention. I don't know enough about that process to weigh in though.

I wouldn't clear the underside. When it fails and peals it will most likely ruin all of your hard work. Car is looking brand new.

I also stopped by a good friends house who also owns a '97 ITR and he had a few things to show me.

Including this kit that I have never seen before anywhere or even of heard of. He has worked for Acura for many many years and has had this just as long.

Has anyone ever seen this before?!>!

Whoa! Looking so great! Did you refurb them or buy new ones? I was quoted just under a grand to refurb mine. That included tires being dismounted remounted and balanced.

Thanks!! We just sat and stared for over an hour. LOL

I have the originals with RE10's on them that will be kept and stored. I picked up this set a year or two ago from a friend that re-did them wayyyy back in 2004 when he had an ITR. Redid them and wrapped them up in paper and stuck in a closet. Center caps are new I picked up late last year.
