I'm not taking sides here and don't know any info about what "9701typeR" is talking about but I can say that I had a good transaction with "Type R" and was paid a reasonable price for my part without any problems..

and I don't know if what "type R" is saying about trying to trade the radio for a 97 ecu is true but I do know that i would never trade the 97 type R ecu for a type R radio...

Once again not taking sides here just want to share my experience with "type R"

You can’t even get your own story straight, sadly. You offered to trade the ecu if I threw in something on top of it. So let’s be clear. And not to mention the first time around months ago, when you repeatedly messaged me on here to sell me your spare ecu, then decided na I’m gonna keep it.

What’s your motive on here? Because like I said, certainly not for the good of this community.

I heard the Acura EL radio is the same and is Amber lit. I see them in Canada come up for sale sometimes. I should buy one next time to confirm.

It is amber lit and the same, I bought one here a few years back from a Canadian seller just because the antenna automatically went down when using the CD player or cassette function (when I used the 3.5mm to cassette adapter)
