I'm hoarding the wrong parts
I can't imagine dealing with a nicer individual so a free bump for you. Buy with confidence.

Greedy? It sold in minutes because they are impossible to find... even used!! I've heard of 2 brand new lips selling in the last year and the prices were both over $4000. Used one sold for over $3000._D_ wrote: ↑Sun Jun 17, 2018 8:08 pmI remember back in teh day when people on this board werent greedy bitches.white rocket wrote: ↑Wed Jun 13, 2018 11:26 am Holy moly.....$2k for a new 97 lip and it sold in minutes?

I agree with D's feedback, prices these days are silly. These are driven by a sustained strong economy (IMO) and Honda discontinuing many items. Supply and demand.
I had no idea, I struggled to find a comparative price. The only one I knew of wasn't for sale (another 97 owner.)Dc2-ProductionS wrote: ↑Mon Jun 18, 2018 9:42 am ...I've heard of 2 brand new lips selling in the last year and the prices were both over $4000. Used one sold for over $3000....

Yea I dont really "agree" with the pricing either but I understand it. VIN matched original Mopar 442 in a box would be race war premiums!coolhandluke wrote: ↑Thu Jun 21, 2018 2:00 pm I agree with D's feedback, prices these days are silly. Soon there will only be re-man and replica left and that's why so much $$

Imo these are good reasons not to have an ultra rare '97 R. My '98 spec is much cheaper in some ways.Dc2-ProductionS wrote: ↑Thu Jun 21, 2018 2:13 pmYea I dont really "agree" with the pricing either but I understand it. @coolhandluke
I missed out on the it, probably a good thing for my bank account, but wanted say thanks for posting the sale.
Whatever opinions are on current prices we all know you could have gotten higher prices than what was asked and on platforms that are easier and less risky. Posting here at the prices you did, was a solid for the community. Asking something more of you than that isn't reasonable.
I hope some of the chatter regarding pricing doesn't leave a sour note for you or other sellers. As futile as it is, people can't help questioning markets as they move, even more so the idea of being on the wrong side of them.
