The buyer is in fact legit, a young dentist from the west coast. He was in surgery the day of the sale. Said he stepped out, placed his best bid (with 33 seconds to go), and went back to surgery before the auction ended. Wondered through the rest of the operation if he'd won!

He flew out to CT. drove the car, and we completed the sale yesterday. He is very happy with the sale. He did place a fair bit of value on the extra parts.
